The scope of work is to build process automation around various business processes and to have quick success wins in terms of selecting the optimal processes to be automated.ResponsibilitiesAs an IPA Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, testing, implementation and maintenance of new and existing automation processesYou will be exposed to a wide array of business applications that get tied together with our robots, and will create value for the organization by automating business tasks.Be a key partner to the business and the rest of the team throughout the delivery cycleEmploy agile development practices including test-driven development and deployment automation as well as Continuous Integration to improve overall execution speed and product qualityDesign, develop and test workforce (Bots) Process Automation Solutions for various business units by leveraging Robotic and Cognitive Automation platformCollaborate with IT to deploy and maintain the Bots in productionRespond to and resolve production issuesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience; MS in Computer Science is desirableA minimum of 3-8 years of experience in software development in a Linux, Core Java, Python, C/C++, NoSQL, and Relational DatabaseRequired technical skills: Core Java, Linux, Python(optional), SQL, RPA Platform/Tools (Workfusion preferred)Desirable technical skills: Knowledge of math/statistical/machine learning librariesStrong understanding of system architecture, object-oriented design, and understanding of Microservices ArchitectureBFSI industry knowledge desirableExperience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile preferred)Proficiency in the development environment, including IDE, web server, application server, source control system, unit-testing tool and defect management toolExcellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiency
