The role includes identifying and resolving problem areas, as well as preparing, designing, and implementing system specifications, technical standards, and programming components.Additional Job Details and Special ConsiderationsThe Department of Information Resources (DIR) is seeking one (1) Software Engineer 3 for the HHSC IT Administrative Applications Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining RPA solutions.The Software Engineer 3 will serve as a senior RPA developer and will be responsible for solution design, process automation, infrastructure support, collaboration with stakeholders, and continuous improvement activities. Technologies used include Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate, and Microsoft Azure.Primary responsibilities include developing, testing, troubleshooting, and deploying bots that automate critical business processes. Hands-on experience with Blue Prism, Power Automate, and Azure is required. The candidate must also be capable of troubleshooting and validating HTTP responses and possess strong knowledge of DOM, HTTP protocol, JavaScript, and HTML.
