Royalty Audit Manager, MusicWe are seeking a Royalty Audit Manager, Music to join our team of dedicated professionals. This position can be based out of Century City or Encino on a hybrid basis. The Royalty Audit Manager, Music is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the royalty audit lifecycle for all assigned clients.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupervision of assigned Royalty Analysts and Senior Royalty AnalystsOversee complex examinations and valuations of record companies, music publishers, merchandising companies, and other licensees of intellectual propertyAnalyze audit reports to check for accuracyAssist in audit settlement negotiationsReview of contract and licensesPrepare complex analytical reportsConduct fieldwork at auditees officesTrack progress of audit programCorrespond with clients, client representatives and auditee representativesAssist Managing Directors in identifying and onboarding prospective clientsOther projects and duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in a similar role is required; 8+ years of experience is preferredAdvanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and formulas (such as VLOOKUP and SUMIF) – bonus points for experience with Power Pivot and Power QueryExperience and education in the music business, particularly music royalties and music royalty auditsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills to create and maintain a trusting relationship with staff and clientsThe candidate must also:Be a self-motivated and detail-oriented analytical thinkerPossess excellent verbal/written communication skills and reading comprehensionUnderstand basic mathematical and accounting principlesWork well independently and in a team environmentBe eager to learn new skills and conceptsWant to help creative artistsAbout Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman Founded in 1967, Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman ("GRF") is a leading full-service business management firm for an exclusive assortment of entertainers, executives and select high net worth individuals.

Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set.
The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Candidate information, including education and work experience, is verified upon an offer of employment.
