If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you're going to want to be here.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.The Rotary Die Cut Operator Assistant is responsible for assisting and supporting the Operator with keeping the equipment running finished product while checking quality.Essential Functions:Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and proceduresDemonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelinesUnderstand job ticket information to determine quantity, stock specifications, colors, special printing instructions and any special customer requirementsFill containers of cleaning solvents, water, fountain solution and ink as neededAssist with mounting platesCommunicate with the operator when problems come up on the delivery endAssist with decisions regarding the quality of finished productComplete required quality inspections and paperworkWork with peers and other department to improve quality and performancePalletize stacks of finished product on skiRepair or assist maintenance in the repair of machine as necessaryPlay an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work areaUnderstand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirementsPerform other duties as assigned by management/supervisorsPerformance Measures and Outcomes:Adherence to safety policies and proceduresQuality of workProduction goalsAdditional knowledge, skills and abilities:Safety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe mannerAbility to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the businessAbility to work on a rotating shift as neededAbility to effectively work in teamsAbility to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and peopleAbility to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of rolesAbility to read a tape measure/rulerGood mathematical skillsGood communication skillsThis position is a 2nd shift position from 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM.This position may be required to work overtime.The wage range for this position is $20.19-$27.31/hour (wage is based on experience).Many advancement opportunities.Two companies, one vision.Menasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
