Rooftop Loader / Warehouse AssociateWe're looking for hardworking, safety-conscious individuals to join our team in a dual-role position covering both rooftop delivery and warehouse operations. As a Rooftop Loader/Warehouse Associate, you'll work alongside our boom truck operators delivering shingles, rolls, and building materials directly to rooftops at job sites — then return to our warehouse to assist with receiving, organizing, and staging inventory for upcoming deliveries. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role that keeps our operation running smoothly from the warehouse floor to the rooftop.
Hard working, team oriented and self-starting are a must.Reports to: Warehouse ManagerMinimum Qualifications:Good mechanical skills and basic math skillsAbility to lift and carry 70–100 lbs repeatedly throughout the shiftAbility to work on concrete floor for entire shiftComfortable working at heights on rooftops in various weather conditionsAble to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screeningAdditional Competencies:Punctual, dependable, and able to follow verbal and written instructionsStrong team communication skills in both warehouse and field environmentsMust be able to transition between field and warehouse duties within the same shiftPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience in roofing, construction, warehouse, or materials handlingFamiliarity with roofing products (shingles, underlayment, drip edge, etc.)Experience operating or working around boom/crane trucksForklift certified or experience operating warehouse equipmentOSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)Basic understanding of load distribution, inventory organization, and safe stacking practicesWorking Conditions:On the Job Site:Outdoor work in Florida heat, sun, wind, and occasional rainWork performed on rooftops at varying heights — must be fully comfortable with heightsEarly start times; typical shifts begin between 5–7 AMMust be able to stand, crouch, and maneuver on pitched roof surfaces for extended periodsIn the Warehouse:Indoor/covered environment with frequent physical activity throughout the shiftHours may vary based on delivery schedule and warehouse demandMust be able to transition between field and warehouse duties within the same shiftSupervisory Responsibilities: NoEssential Job Functions:Load and unload roofing materials from boom trucks at job sitesAssist boom truck operator with rigging and guiding materials to rooftop placementDistribute materials evenly across roof surfacesReceive and verify incoming freightStage and organize pallets for next-day deliveriesOperate pallet jacks and warehouse equipmentStock and organize material on shelvesMaintain a clean and organized warehousePicking ordersCommunicate with drivers, crew members, and site foremenComply with all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelinesCED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | Veteran
