What You'll Do as a Roofing Technician:
- Install commercial roofing systems on primarily flat and industrial roofs, including liquid coatings and fabric-reinforced systems.
- Spray polyurethane foam and apply protective roof coatings using applicators and spraying equipment.
- Lay and repair PVC roofing membranes to help deliver durable, high-quality results.
- Inspect roofs for leaks, damage, and areas requiring repair, and prepare surfaces by cleaning, removing debris, and completing minor repairs.
- Measure cut, position, and secure roofing materials using hand tools, power tools, and specialized roofing equipment.
- Transport & Maintain tools, equipment, and materials while driving a company truck and trailer to job sites, keeping vehicles and work areas clean and organized, and helping the crew keep projects on schedule.
- Follow OSHA requirements, fall-protection practices, and our company safety procedures while working on rooftops and climbing ladders.
- Reliable: You show up on time, work hard, and can be counted on to contribute to the crew.
- Teachable: Willing to learn new roofing and construction skills, receive feedback, and continue developing your abilities.
- Safety-Conscious: Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, using roofing tools and equipment, and lifting up to 80 lbs. while following required safety practices.
- Qualified Driver: You have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record for the past five years.
- Construction Experience: Previous experience in construction or a similar hands-on field is preferred but not required-we are willing to train someone eager to learn.
- Team-Oriented: You work well alongside others and share our commitment to quality, humility, excellence, and serving others well.
- Pay Range: $20-$25/hour, DOE, paid biweekly
