Robotics TechnicianThe Robotics Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting a large integrated robotic manufacturing system consisting of robotic painting systems, & robotic welding systems. The technician will work closely with operators, maintenance personnel, and engineering teams to ensure safe operation, maximum uptime, and consistent production quality. This role supports industrial robots from Reis and Lesta as well as the automation systems that coordinate the robotic manufacturing process.Primary duties include:Troubleshoot robotic system faults and production interruptionsSupport robot recovery procedures and restart production after faultsPerform minor robot program adjustments and touch-ups when requiredAssist with PLC and robot communication troubleshootingPerform preventative maintenance on robots, tooling, sensors, and automation equipmentMonitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve reliabilitySupport operators during changeovers and production issuesMaintain backup copies of robot programs and system configurationsAssist with system commissioning, testing, and process improvementsWork with integrator support teams when advanced troubleshooting is requiredRequirements include:High school diploma or equivalentTechnical training or associate degree in automation, robotics, electrical, or mechanical technology preferred2–5 years of experience working with industrial automation or roboticsStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read electrical schematics and technical drawingsBasic understanding of PLC-controlled systemsStrong safety awareness and ability to follow lockout/tagout proceduresStinger Bridge & Iron is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and an Equal Opportunity Employer of Individuals with Disabilities and Protected Veterans.Pre-employment physical and drug testing are required.If you require an accommodation to apply, please contact HR to request it.
