Our client is seeking a Robotics Engineer to help build a formal robotics and automation strategy at a manufacturing site, supporting FANUC and autonomous mobile robot processes to deliver measurable manufacturing results.
Pay: $50.93 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute robotics and automation strategy to deliver measurable manufacturing results
- Support FANUC robotic and autonomous mobile robot manufacturing processes
- Develop and execute manufacturing methods and identify optimization opportunities
- Work with manufacturing and quality engineering to improve processes and data acquisition
- Help establish and enforce site standards for controls, robotics, and automation
- Monitor robot backup schedules and manage robot backup files
- Work with system integrators on onsite and offline robot programming
- Troubleshoot robotic processes in a production setting
- Work independently while meeting timelines and following environmental, health, and safety procedures
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of programming experience in automated manufacturing systems, or an advanced degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience
- Experience with autonomous mobile robot programming
- Experience evaluating and implementing robotic standards
- Experience troubleshooting peripheral components and applications from various manufacturers
- US citizenship required; only US citizens are authorized to access information under this program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree related to robotic engineering
- Experience with FANUC Roboguide or Siemens Process Simulate
- FANUC Advanced DCS certification
