Robotics Application EngineerA rapidly growing robotics manufacturer expanding its U.S. operations and seeking a Robotics Application Engineer to support customers across North America. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer who enjoys hands-on robotics, customer interaction, troubleshooting, and travel.

The position offers significant growth potential into senior field engineering and technical leadership roles.As a Robotics Application Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical resource for customers utilizing collaborative robots, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), dual-arm robotic systems, and quadruped robots. You will be responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, training, and ongoing technical support while collaborating closely with engineering teams and customers.This role combines field service, applications engineering, and customer support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with advanced robotic technologies in real-world applications.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and commission robotic systems at customer facilitiesPerform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical, electrical, and basic software-related issuesProvide end-user training on robot operation, programming, and maintenanceSupport after-sales service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and replacement of componentsAct as a technical liaison between customers and engineering teams to resolve complex issuesDocument field activities, service reports, and technical findingsAssist with customer demonstrations, proof-of-concept projects, and application evaluationsSupport deployment of robotic solutions across a variety of industries and applicationsTravel extensively throughout the United States to support customer installations and service needsQualifications RequiredBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related technical discipline; equivalent hands-on experience will also be consideredUnderstanding of robotic and mechatronic systems, including servo motors, motion control, reducers, and articulated robot architecturesExperience working in Linux environmentsBasic programming experience with Python and/or C++Hands-on experience programming or teaching industrial robots or collaborative robots (Universal Robots, FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Doosan, or similar)Mechanical assembly and electrical wiring experienceStrong communication and customer-facing skillsAbility and willingness to travel up to 60%Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United StatesPreferred QualificationsExperience troubleshooting robotic mechanical systems, precision assemblies, or motion control equipmentExperience with industrial electrical systems, servo drives, and motor controlsKnowledge of industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, or PROFINETExperience with offline robot programming software such as RoboDK, RobotStudio, RoboGuide, or similar toolsPLC programming and integration experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff, etc.)Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, Docker, and GitPrevious experience supporting robotic systems in manufacturing or production environmentsPrior Field Service Engineer or Applications Engineer experience within robotics, automation, or industrial equipment industriesKorean language skills are a plusWhy Consider This Opportunity?Join a fast-growing robotics organization during a major U.S. expansion phaseWork with a broad portfolio of advanced robotic technologies, including collaborative robots, mobile robots, dual-arm systems, and quadruped robotsGain direct exposure to cutting-edge automation applications across multiple industriesClear career advancement path into senior applications engineering, field engineering, or solutions engineering rolesCompetitive compensation and benefits packageOpportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing North American operation
