Summary/Objective:
The robotic weld associate position is responsible for operating, maintaining and trouble-shooting welding robots for all phases of production. The position communicates with co-workers, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.
Essential Functions:
- Operate robotic welders at or above established quality and efficiency standards
- Produce weld quality consistently that meet quality standards within job schedule
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety by completing preventive maintenance per established schedules
- Collaborate with Engineering I Quality Department personnel in testing and evaluating welding equipment, metals, fixtures, methods and processes
- Inspect welding products to ensure accuracy and discover flaws
- Train other personnel on operating robotic system program
- Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Communicate with other departments as necessary
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Adhere to all company rules and policies
- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor
