This is a 1st shift, temp to direct position.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Robot Welder Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 17.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 05:00am to 01:30pm)The Robot Welder is responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture products to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.Will be welding with both a robot welder and manual welding.Will be working with weld symbols.Must have working knowledge of the use of fixtures and weld set up parameters.Conventional and precision measuring instruments.Process inspection, certification, and documentationWelding equipment/robot maintenance.Finishing grinding application using manual and power tools.Robot Welder Qualifications:Previous welding experience preferred.Able to read blueprints.Comfortable lifting 50 pounds.Must have welding hood and steel toes.Valid driver's license required.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
