This role plays a critical part in maintaining product strength, accuracy, and consistency in our manufacturing process.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate robotic tack welding equipmentLoad, unload, and align workpieces in robotic welding fixturesPrepare materials by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and fitting steel componentsInspect and repair welds to ensure quality and consistencyMonitor weld quality and adjust parameters as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditionsAssist with troubleshooting equipment and process improvementsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent3–5 years of welding, fabrication, or related manufacturing experienceExperience working with robotic or automated welding systems preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to follow specificationsAbility to communicate clearly and work well in a team environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsFrequent bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and liftingRegular handling of materials up to 40+ lbsWork in environments with loud noise, moving machinery, heat, fumes, and varying temperaturesAbility to safely use hand tools, grinders, and welding equipmentBenefitsPay: Hiring Salary Range: Depending on ExperienceBonus ProgramsInsurance Medical – Flexible Spending Account and Dependent Care AccountDental and Vision PlansSTD/LTD and Voluntary Life/AD&D PlansRetirement 401k with company matchHolidays/PTO 9 Paid Holiday, 1 Floating Holiday PTO for New HiresAdditional Incentives Safety glasses and steel toe boots reimbursementWork shirts provided by DeGeestNote: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
