We support manufacturing clients across automotive, aerospace, and general industry with advanced installation, commissioning, and technical support services.Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Yaskawa Motoman Robotics Technician to support installation, integration, and commissioning of robotic systems across multiple customer sites. This role will be based out of Novi, MI or Clinton Township, MI, but requires flexibility to travel to various job sites for installation and launch support.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, setup, and commission Yaskawa Motoman robotic systems and automation cellsSupport new equipment launches at customer manufacturing facilitiesPerform robot setup, calibration, and basic programming adjustmentsTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues during installationWork closely with PLC and controls teams to integrate robotic systems into production linesRead and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and layout printsConduct system testing, validation, and production readiness checksProvide on-site technical support during installation and launch phasesMaintain safety compliance at all customer and job sitesRequired QualificationsHands-on experience with Yaskawa Motoman robotic systemsBackground in robotics, automation, or industrial maintenanceStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read technical drawings and wiring diagramsBasic understanding of PLCs and industrial controlsExperience working in automotive or manufacturing environments preferredStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced launch environmentsTravel RequirementsMust be open and willing to travel for installation projectsTravel may include extended stays during project launches and customer site deploymentsWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceOpportunity to work on advanced robotics and automation projectsExposure to major automotive and industrial manufacturing programsGrowth opportunities within a rapidly expanding automation organization
