We don't just integrate robots — we engineer complete, production-ready systems that power the world's most advanced manufacturers.We are growing and seeking experienced Robotic Programmers who thrive in dynamic project environments and want to work on high-impact automation systems across diverse industries.What You'll DoAs a Robotic Programmer at AMT, you'll play a critical role in designing, programming, launching, and optimizing robotic automation systems.Core Responsibilities:Program, integrate, and debug robotic systems (robots & PLCs)Support installation and startup of automated robotic systemsLead production launch and on-site customer supportDevelop cost-effective technical solutions while maintaining reliabilityReview requirements, specifications, and system designsMaintain customer specifications and manage deviationsProvide application expertise for material handling, machine tending, and vision-guided roboticsDevelop integration tools and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costInvestigate and implement process and technology enhancementsTechnical ExpertiseWe're looking for hands-on experience in:Industrial robots: FANUC, ABB, KUKA, or MotomanPLC/HMI programming (Rockwell and Siemens preferred)VFD and Servo control systemsVision-guided robotics applicationsElectromechanical systems integrationAutomotive standards (GM, Ford, Stellantis/FCA preferred)Advanced knowledge of robotic material handling and machine tending applications is highly desirable.Travel ExpectationsApproximately 60% travel to customer sitesProject-based assignments may require extended out-of-state work (returning home every other weekend)Past projects have included Colorado, New York, and various U.S. locationsHeadquarters located in Orion, MichiganWhat You BringMinimum 2 years of industrial robot programming experienceGreat attitude, confidence in your problem-solving ability, willingness to learn AND mentor othersPreferred experience with automation project installation, system design, programming, and commissioning.Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States.
