As a Roadway Design Project Manager, you'll guide multidisciplinary teams from concept through delivery on projects that improve safety, mobility, and long-term sustainability.
This position offers a hybrid work option.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management.Managing projects that involve a combination of the following: quantities/cost estimation, roadway geometrics, staging, drainage, modeling, signing and marking, right-of-way, and erosion and sedimentation control.Providing technical oversight, support, and training to engineersFollowing internal quality control processesPeople management, such as mentoring and supervising lead engineers and junior engineers to support their technical growth and career developmentFostering technical excellence across the business line by sharing expertise, promoting best practices, and supporting continuous learningQualificationsMinimum:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related discipline and 4 years of related roadway project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationGeorgia PE LicensePreferred:10 years of experience designing & managing roadway projectsExperience designing & managing Georgia roadway projectsExperience and training with GDOT Plan Development ProcessAdditional InformationSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.Relocation is not an option for this position
