- Coordinate wound care therapy into the total nursing care plan for patients
- Participate in patient and family teaching
- Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel
- Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
- Report to the Director of Wound Care
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nursing License for the state in which the employee is working
- Current CPR certification and maintenance of certification
- Two (2) years direct patient care experience required
- Experience in emergency care, critical care or ET nursing preferred
- Certification from an approved Wound Care Certification course preferred
