Help improve patient outcomes by assessing, treating, and preventing complex wounds in a supportive acute care environment.

Position: RN – Wound Care Specialist

Location: Simi Valley, California

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule:

Day Shift

Monday–Friday

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Scrubs: Any color

What You'll Need

Current BLS Certification

Strong wound care experience

Wound Care Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain if applicable)

BSN preferred

What You'll Do

Assess, evaluate, and manage patients with acute and chronic wounds

Perform wound consultations throughout multiple inpatient units

Evaluate and treat pressure injuries, skin breakdown, and complex wounds

Develop individualized wound care treatment plans

Collaborate with physicians, bedside nurses, and interdisciplinary teams

Educate patients and staff on wound prevention and best practices

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor patient outcomes
