RN Wound Care Nurse/Restorative Nurse

RN Wound Care Nurse/Restorative Nurse Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive wound care services to residents, including wound assessment, treatment, and education
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Conduct restorative therapy sessions to promote residents' independence and mobility
• Monitor and document residents' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes

RN Wound Care Nurse/Restorative Nurse Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania
• Strong knowledge of wound care principles and practices
• Wound care certification preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Capacity to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively
