We’re seeking an RN - Wound Care to support our client, a healthcare provider specializing in patient-centered care. This is a temp position lasting 10-26 weeks, located on-site. Join a team dedicated to delivering safe, competent, and quality wound, ostomy, and continence care in a dynamic clinical environment.
RN - Wound Care Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments related to wounds, ostomies, and continence to develop personalized care plans.
- Recommend appropriate treatment strategies based on diagnosis and individual patient needs.
- Contribute to the development, review, and enhancement of standards of care.
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatments, evaluating care quality and staff performance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and facilitate referrals as necessary.
RN - Wound Care Qualifications:
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license.
- Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON), Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN), Certified Wound Specialist (CWS), or equivalent certification.
- Between 3 to 5 years of healthcare experience.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records and healthcare systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
