About This Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Urology at Mass General Brigham is responsible for providing compassionate care and assessment of ambulatory patients. This role is ideal for nurses who are dedicated to collaborating with care teams to develop treatment plans and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

What You'll Do
- Administer medications/injections when necessary
- Assist with office-based procedures when necessary
- Perform pre-operative teaching and answer relevant questions
- Perform post-operative teaching and answer relevant questions
- Facilitate clinical sessions for physicians by reviewing patient history and recording information in the EHR
- Return patient calls that require clinical input
- Staff nurse triage phone line, fielding clinical calls from patients
- Maintain Commonwealth of Massachusetts and MGH compliance requirements
- Participate in the development and sharing of standard processes through interdepartmental meetings
- Maintain professional demeanor and appearance
Requirements
Education:- Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
- Current RN License in Massachusetts required
