Position: RN Unit Manager
Location: Uniondale, NY
Shift: Full Time | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $55 per hour
About The Role
Townhouse Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of exceptional resident care. The ideal candidate is an experienced, compassionate leader who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced skilled nursing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily nursing unit operations, ensuring high-quality and person-centered care.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate CNAs, LPNs, and RNs, including conducting performance and competency assessments.
- Address clinical and administrative challenges to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
- Provide expert clinical oversight in medical, behavioral, and crisis management situations.
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop and achieve individualized resident care goals.
- Partner with the Director of Nursing to align unit objectives with overall facility goals.
- Communicate regularly with families and physicians regarding resident progress and updates.
- Conduct thorough resident assessments and contribute to care planning and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
- Promote a positive, supportive environment for staff, residents, and families.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York (required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
- Prior leadership or RN management experience strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Sigma experience preferred.
