Facility: The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing
Location: Southampton, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift
Salary: $90,000–$95,000 per year

The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Unit Manager to oversee the clinical and administrative operations of a subacute nursing unit. The RN Unit Manager will provide strong leadership to the nursing team, coordinate resident care, and help ensure a safe, efficient, and therapeutic environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the clinical and administrative management of the nursing unit
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure quality resident care
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, facility policies, and procedures
- Oversee resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Monitor resident progress and coordinate appropriate interventions
- Promote effective communication among nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with all applicable New York State and federal regulations
- Support staff development, teamwork, and efficient unit operations
- Utilize SigmaCare and other computer systems for clinical documentation and resident management
Requirements
- Current New York State RN license
- Minimum 1 year of nursing home experience required
- 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Experience in subacute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care
- Supervisory or nursing management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively problem-solveAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with SigmaCare preferred
