Key Responsibilities

As an RN Unit Manager Registered Nurse , you will act as a pivotal clinical leader ensuring exceptional patient care and smooth daily unit operations. Your consolidated duties include:

• Clinical Oversight & Rounds: Conduct systematic nursing rounds to monitor patient progress, assess changing needs, and implement individualized care plans.

• Staff Supervision & Coaching: Directly manage nursing staff on your shift, overseeing medication administration, providing constructive feedback, and participating in performance evaluations.

• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain meticulous records according to HIPAA guidelines and ensure all staff adhere strictly to local, state, federal, and facility policies.

• Interdisciplinary Coordination: Partner seamlessly with physicians, families, and the broader care team to ensure holistic recovery and clear discharge education.

Qualifications

To excel as our RN Unit Manager Registered Nurse , you should possess:

• License: An active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.

• Wound Care Certified

• Leadership & Teamwork: Proven capability to work autonomously when making critical unit decisions, while fostering a collaborative, team-first environment.

• Clinical Experience: Prior management or supervisory experience is preferred. Experience in long-term care, inpatient, or palliative environments is highly advantageous.

• Tech Proficiency: Solid working knowledge of computers and standard Electronic Health Records (EHR) platforms.
