Salary: $77,500 – $87,500 annually

RN Unit Manager – Lead with Impact

Melbourne Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily nursing operations, support staff development, and ensure the highest standards of resident care in a collaborative, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day nursing operations in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to ensure quality care and proper staffing
  • Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote a positive and productive work environment
  • Manage unit scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage and efficiency
  • Conduct staff training, competency evaluations, and ongoing performance support
  • Ensure accurate and timely MDS documentation; utilize PCC effectively
  • Support resident and family communication, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and facility-wide programs
  • Qualifications

    • Active Florida RN license (required)
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in long-term care or rehabilitation
    • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
    • Experience with PCC and commitment to patient-centered care
