RN Unit Manager

- Supervisory/Long Term Care Experience Preferred

Responsibilities
- Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care.
- Conduct nursing rounds on all each unit multiple times throughout the shift.
- Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members.
- Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.
Qualifications
- At least 2+ years experience in managing staff.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Meet state requirements for relevant licensures or certification and have no disciplinary action in affect against professional license.
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
- Computer knowledge.
License
Must have an Active RN Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of DE.
