Working remotely in a part-time capacity, the RN Triage Nurse will manage incoming catastrophic injury referral calls, providing medical status updates and assigning Field Case Managers as necessary while ensuring adherence to client service guidelines. Key responsibilities Triages catastrophic referral calls using critical reasoning and nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care Identifies life-threatening emergencies and recommends appropriate interventions while maintaining communication with clients and stakeholders Documents triage activities and ensures compliance with quality assurance standards and client-specific guidelines Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred Active unrestricted RN license issued in a state or territory of the United States required Experience in triage nursing or crisis care preferred Knowledge of medical conditions and treatment planning Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
