Overview
Join a dynamic team as a Medical-Surgical/Telemedicine Registered Nurse in Orangeburg, South Carolina. This 13-week contract is for 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. Float within similar units to meet facility needs and collaborate with a dedicated team. Patient load ratio is approximately 1:5-6. Work every other weekend. Prior tele competency and charge nurse experience are preferred. This assignment provides experience in a Level III Trauma facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical-surgical and telemedicine nursing care as part of a 13-week contract.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a busy community hospital setting.
- Manage a patient load with an approximate ratio of 1:5-6.
- Float within similar units to meet facility needs.
- Maintain availability to work every other weekend.
- Utilize telemedicine competencies as applicable and leverage charge nurse experience if available.
Qualifications
- Prior tele competency and charge nurse experience are preferred.
