Hourly rate: $31/hr.
Job Description:
A professional nurse is an individual accountable for the care of a group of patients. The Registered Nurse (RN) focuses on safe effective patient and family cantered care, customer satisfaction and quality outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Performs assessments & reassessments per policy & procedure or as warranted by patient condition; demonstrates ability to make sound independent decisions.
- Initiates, prioritizes and implements the plan of care and reviews and revises the plan as indicated.
- Collaborates with patient/family & interdisciplinary services; utilizes resources appropriately to support the needs of the organization/patient/family.
- Monitors and documents response to clinical interventions
- Facilitates/coordinates/provides/evaluates education specific to patient/family needs and as appropriate to the care, treatment and services provided during their stay and at discharge.
Experience:
- Two years of acute care RN experience.
Skillsets:
- Epic experience
Education:
Nursing Diploma.
OR
Associate’s degree (ASN).
Additional Qualifications:
Licenses: Registered Nurse.
Certifications:
- BLS
- NIHSS
