What You’ll Do
- Assess human responses and implement nursing care plans.
- Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
- Delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
- Supervise and evaluate assigned LPN scope of practice.
- Participate in interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care.
- Promote patient safety initiatives and quality initiatives.
- Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
- Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
- Participate in professional organizations and continuous learning.
- Promote compassionate communication that is patient and family-centered.
Requirements
Education:- Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) required.
- Preferred certification in area of specialty.
- Current RN License in Pennsylvania.
- CPR certification required.
- Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances required.
