Description:This position involves floating to various patient care areas, excluding certain units.Candidates must possess strong telemetry skills and be adept in managing multiple comorbidities.Experience with the following conditions is preferred: diabetes mellitus, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cardiovascular disease, hepatic issues, oncology, sepsis protocol, and alcohol withdrawal protocol.Nurses will be responsible for managing and interpreting cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias in real time.Candidates must have experience with central lines and must demonstrate a solid understanding of managing cardiac drips, although titration experience is highly preferred.Teaching hospital experience is strongly preferred.Weekends are required, with a minimum of every other weekend coverage.Candidates must be flexible and willing to work in a resource pool setting, supporting multiple units.Candidates will need to complete modules as assigned during the contract.A flu vaccine is required, with exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis.
