As a Surgical Stepdown Registered Nurse, you provide comprehensive bedside care for adult post-surgical and stepdown patients using the nursing process. You assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and oversee the effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers. You uphold patient rights, maintain confidentiality, and follow Mercy’s standards while working in a fast-paced, physically demanding hospital environment on an as-needed (PRN) basis.
