About This Role
As an RN in the Surgical Float Pool at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide essential nursing care to diverse patient populations in various surgical units. This fast-paced role requires adaptability and flexibility while ensuring patients are supported and comfortable throughout their surgical journey.

- Schedule: Full-time, Weekend Days + One Weekday Shift
What You'll Do
- Deliver professional nursing care in an operative setting to adult and pediatric patients.
- Perform scrub functions, including selecting and handling instruments and supplies.
- Perform circulating functions, monitoring and communicating patient condition.
- Assist the operating physician with surgical tasks such as hemostasis and suturing.
- Prepare the Operating Room, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.
Requirements
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN required)
Experience:
- One year RN experience required or completion of Cleveland Clinic perioperative residency program
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred within 6 months of hire
