RN Surgery FT PT and Per Diem

SUMMARY

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients who are ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled, in accordance with the State of California Nursing Practice Act. This role is based at Mountains Community Hospital and includes departments such as Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Perioperative Services, and Skilled Nursing Facility. On-call duty is required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

1. Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
2. Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
3. Preferred one to two years’ experience in specific nursing services, e.g., Emergency Services, Perioperative Services, Medical Surgical Services, Skilled Nursing Services.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

1. Current State of California Nursing license.
2. Current BLS certificate.

• ACLS upon hire
• PALS upon hire
• Basic arrhythmia certification required within 6 months of hire
