We are dedicated to being the leader in the application and design of innovative services, fostering new partnerships in the community, promoting excellence in the delivery of care for residents and staff, by anticipating and embracing the ever changing needs of the community we serve.RN Supervisor ResponsibilitiesOrganizes, oversees, & supervises assigned unit activities & staff assignments & demonstrates clinical expertise which is consistent with the established standards of Nursing PracticeIdentifies & responds, appropriately & timely, to patient needsMonitors, observes, & documents vital signs, treatments administered, & patient responses.Administers medications & treatments as neededCommunicates and directs services ongoing or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staff as neededIdentifies & follows disciplinary action as stated in policyCollaborates with interdisciplinary team, physicians, & other vendors'/servicesPerforms RN assessment to resident's post incidents or change in condition.Leads & directs emergency situations – (Fire alarm, Elopement, etc.)Maintains accurate nursing report, staffing sheets, & census rosterRequirementsCurrent & good standing RN License in State of New YorkPrevious experience with geriatric/short term rehabilitation/Alzheimer's patients is desirableProgressive Nursing experience in a geriatric setting.
