House Supervisor RNJob Specialty: NursingJob Duration: Full-TimeShift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM & Every 3rd weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun)Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekExperience: Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience required; work-related experience and/or previous House/Shift Supervisor/management role in a hospital setting preferred.License: NE or Compact RN LicenseCertifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ability to obtain within 2 months of hire); TNCC (or ability to obtain within 1 year); ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 (or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire)Must-Have: Graduate of School of Nursing; BSN or BA preferred.Job Description:- Promote and maintain quality patient care during assigned 12-hour shifts.- Coordinate resources and solve problems related to patient care delivery.- Provide direct care delivery and evaluate the effectiveness of care.- Promote effective communication within the healthcare team.- Implement and enforce Nursing, Medical Staff, and Administrative policies and procedures.- Rotate into the Emergency Department RN role as needed.- Demonstrate commitment to the organizational mission, vision, and core values.- Maintain clinical competency for Acute and Emergency Room Care.- Supervise, instruct, and evaluate acute and ED patient care staff members.- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.- Exercise professional judgment and courtesy in interactions.- Manage conflict resolution and critical conversations.- Lead RN for emergency management plan response, open incident command when appropriate.- Demonstrate knowledge of risk management, quality review reports, and incident reporting.- Complete yearly self and staff evaluations/reviews and development plans.- Attend 75% of monthly staff meetings and mandatory in-services/programs.- Initiate assessments/reassessments based on patient needs.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.- Integrate appropriate standards of care into patient care plans.- Execute, direct, and supervise therapeutic interventions.- Evaluate patient response to interventions and progress toward outcomes.- Incorporate cultural considerations and include family in patient care.- Document patient care accurately and according to procedures.- Facilitate patient transitions to the next level of care.- Maintain effective communication with the healthcare team.- Assist administration with personnel management and administrative duties.- Perform as senior leader in the absence of CNO/nursing management.- Oversee and assign additional work duties during low-volume periods.Client Details:City: Broken BowState: NE
