About This Role

The RN SPU Endoscopy position is a per diem role focused on providing nursing care in an endoscopy setting without weekends or call. This role is ideal for nurses with experience in Endo/Special Procedures or PACU.

What You'll Do

• Provide nursing care to a defined group of patients.
• Coordinate and facilitate health care services for patients.
• Oversee and participate in patient assessment and care plan formulation.
• Use the nursing process for ongoing assessment of patient care needs.
• Develop a written plan of care for patient needs.
• Provide nursing interventions safely and competently.
• Communicate patients' psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs.
• Develop educational components for nursing care plans.
• Promote patient self-care responsibility for health needs.
• Participate in continued education programs and staff orientation.

Education:

Experience:

• Strongly prefer Endo/Special Procedures/Conscious Sedation or PACU experience

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current Washington /or Compact Multistate RN license
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• ACLS certification
