Ro Health is currently hiring qualified RN's to join our staff and work in public schools all around Durham, Wake County, and surrounding areas!
Position Details:
- Specialty: School Health, Pediatrics, Special Education
- Locations available include: Durham & Wake County
- Positions Available: 2-3 month Full Time Assignment assisting in Health Office
- Shift: Varies, anywhere between 7 AM - 3/4 PM
- Days: Monday through Friday, no holidays, weekends, or nights
- Target Start Date: ASAP
- Monday-Friday Schedule - never work nights or weekends
- Competitive Pay! ($30/hr - $39/hr depending on experience)
- 8 Days of PTO Accrued
- Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision Coverage) for Full-Time Nurses
- 401k Retirement Plan (4% employer match after 1st year)
- Paid orientation prior to your start
- On-call Clinical Supervisor support during school hours
- Working in the health office with patients that have one or more of the following (G-tube, trach, catheter, diabeties, seizures)
- Distributing medication to students with a med pass
- Working 1:1 with a patient directly in the school with one or more of the following conditions (G-tube, NG Tube, trach, catheter, diabetes, seizures, Cerebral Palsy)
- Provide client care according to the approved Plan of Care
- Assist in providing a safe environment for the client
- Comply with all documentation and record-keeping requirements
- Assist with lifting, transporting, and diapering as needed
- Assist with ADLs as needed
- Providing coverage during busing as needed
- Active, North Carolina RN Nursing License (Compact License Accepted)
- Passion for excellent pediatric patient care!
- Seizure Disorder Education
- Diastat Administration
- Insulin Injections and Pumps
- Diabetic Management including Carb Counting
- Medication Administration
- G-tube Feedings
- Tracheostomy Care
