Valley Regional Medical Center’s Nurse Residency program supports new graduate RNs transitioning into professional practice in our acute care hospital. Residents complete structured clinical rotations, evidence-based education, and precepted shifts across key service lines, including med-surg, telemetry, ED, and women’s services. Working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment, residents build core competencies in assessment, clinical judgment, safety, and communication while serving the diverse Rio Grande Valley community with compassion and excellence.
