06:45 AM - 07:15 PM, with every other weekend rotation.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Rehabilitation will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various conditions including strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and trauma. This RN will work within a transdisciplinary team model in a dynamic rehabilitation environment, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care to support their recovery and discharge plans.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create individualized care plans.
• Conduct patient assessments and document care activities within the electronic health record (Cerner).
• Support patients in therapy sessions and daily living activities.
• Educate patients and families about post-discharge care and rehabilitation resources.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess an active RN license.
• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation or med-surg setting required; no new graduates.
• Cerner experience is required.
