The Rehabilitation Nurse will provide specialized care and treatment for patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses. This role involves working closely with patients to maximize their health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized rehabilitation nursing care to patients in an acute rehabilitation setting.
- Monitor patient progress and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Administer medications and provide education to patients and their families about care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in electronic health records.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a rehabilitation nurse.
- Must possess a valid RN license.
- BLS certification is required.
- Basic computer knowledge and effective communication skills are essential.
