Full Time - Three 12 hour shifts

Responsibilities
* Provides advanced nursing care for patients requiring complex assessments, therapies, and high-intensity interventions.
* Analyzes assessment data to anticipate changes and respond quickly to evolving patient conditions.
* Prioritizes critical information to take immediate, evidence-based, patient-focused action.
* Monitors and manages specialized equipment and interprets data such as cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic pressures.
* Responds to emergencies and life-threatening situations according to established protocols and standards of care.
* Assesses patient needs, develops and evaluates individualized care plans, and advocates for patients and families.
* Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams while coordinating and delegating patient care activities.
* Documents care accurately and maintains clinical competency while modeling professionalism and supporting departmental goals.
Qualifications
Education/Training
* Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Baptist Health unit/department.
Licensure/Certification
* Maintains current State of Alabama RN license.
* Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
Experience
* 1 year experience required unless approved by AVP level or above.
* Experience in critical care or progressive care is highly preferred.
