What You Will Do:
- Provide Expert Interventional Care during diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, PCIs, ablations, and pacemaker insertions.
- Manage Patient Trajectories: Monitor and stabilize patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure using expert critical care skills.
- Administer Specialized Medications: Manage emergency and procedural sedation medications safely and confidently.
- Champion Patient Safety: Maintain meticulous documentation and foster an environment focused on optimal clinical outcomes.
What You Bring:
- Licensure: Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab utilizing nurse driven moderate sedation.
- Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment capabilities, and a true team-player mindset.
- Manages individualized, outcome oriented nursing care through the use of the nursing process. Provides care, treatment and services through the successful coordination and completion of a series of processes that include assessment, planning care, providing care, in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
- Commits to working a minimum of 16 hours over two (2) shifts per 4 week schedule. Also works 1 day before or after a major summer or winter holiday. Must be willing to take call as needed.
Compensation Pay Range: $38.20 - $77.39
