Position Overview

Registered Nurse – Night Shift – Cardiac Telemetry, Ascension St. Vincent Evansville, Evansville, IN .

• Hospital: Ascension St. Vincent Evansville
• Location: 3700 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714
• Schedule: Full Time Night 7pm/7am
• Sign on bonus $15,000 (for nights only)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans; monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate the patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Valid BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure at time of hire required.
