RN - Progressive Care/ Stepdown (7p to 7a)
Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for Progressive Care/Stepdown (7p to 7a) Night Shift. Location: Columbia, MD 21044.
Schedule: Night Shift, Full-Time.
Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse in the Special Care Unit (SCU), you will provide intensive monitoring and care to ICU Stepdown patients on complex medical and surgical treatments, including drips and post‑operative support. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
Qualifications
- BSN preferred.
- RNs without a BSN must enroll in a BSN program within 6 months and complete the degree within 4 years of their start date.
- Previous specialty clinical experience preferred for specialty units.
- Current Maryland RN license or licensure in a compact state that allows practice in Maryland.
- CPR required.
- ACLS required.

Salary Range
Minimum $37.13/hour – Maximum $57.87/hour.
