1G is a 22‑bed Progressive Non‑ICU unit at Blodgett Hospital specializing in the care of medically complex patients, including those with cardiac arrhythmias and those requiring BiPAP. Scope of Work
Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably in accordance with the American Nurses Association (ANA) and Michigan state law. Demonstrates competency through the critical‑thinking model that includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds ANA standards of professional performance, ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice, quality of practice, professional evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications
- Associate’s in Nursing required.
- Bachelor’s in Nursing within 5 years of graduation required.
- Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
