About This Role

As an RN in the Emergency Department at Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital, you will provide comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages while enhancing their experience through direct interaction and support.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing education and clinical nursing study.

Requirements

• Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required.
• Experience:
  • 2+ years of recent related nursing experience for external applicants.
  • Less than 2 years of experience for internal applicants, with post-orientation/90-day probationary period considered.
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications required upon hire or within one year.
