Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in the screening and oversight of the health care of all children assigned to their care.
• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in education and training of staff and clients as directed in health care issues, policies, and procedures.
• Provide emergency oversight of medical services as needed for clients and staff.
• Assist as directed in the maintenance of systems and processes related to health care functions to include infection control, employee health, and other areas assigned.
• Maintain high standard of personal and interpersonal functioning in job performance.
• Monitor Child Care staff in the performances of their health care responsibilities.
• Assist the Director of Nursing in other duties as assigned in areas related to the provisions of health care for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse with a valid Louisiana license.
• Two years of experience preferred in working with an adolescent population.

Employment Provisions

• Time on Duty: Rotating Schedule— including weekends and holidays. Evening shift 5am‑5pm. Full time status is 36 hours (3–12 hour shifts).
• Salary: As provided in the Annual Budget.
• FLSA Exemption: Exempt.
• Benefits: As stated in Personnel Policies and Procedures and determined by the Board of Directors.
