Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for our PreOP/PACU team!
The Registered Nurse PreOp/PACU responsibilities include:
* Directs and/or provides professional perianesthesia nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum.
* Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care.
* Provides supervision and guidance to other members of the PAT/PACU/Pre-operative and Pain Management staff.
* May be authorized, in the absence of the PreOp/PACU/PAT Director, to make decisions affecting the PAT/PACU Pre-operative and Pain Management area.
Required Skills:
Qualifications:
* Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.
* Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
* Current RN licensure in the State of Arizona
* Current BLS certification
* Must be able to achieve ACLS & PALS certification within 90 days of employment.
* Ability to relate and work effectively with others
* Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
* Previous PACU, critical care, or emergency room nursing experience is preferred.
