Description:This position involves working in the pre/post area for surgical and endoscopic procedures, as well as interventional radiology and infusions.The shifts will have variable start times ranging from 05:30 to 08:00 and will end between 18:00 and 20:30, Monday through Friday.The nurse will be responsible for patient assessments and education before surgery.Skills required include administering medications, managing central lines, and performing various outpatient procedures.Experience with electronic charting systems is essential.Candidates should be comfortable with a patient ratio of 3:1.Important skills include airway assessment, medication reconciliation, and post-operative care.This role requires communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary support services.Flexibility in scheduling and adaptability to changing patient needs are also essential.
