Description:This travel position is for a Registered Nurse in the Pre-Operative department.The shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.The unit consists of 9 preoperative beds and 5 recovery beds.There is a nurse to patient ratio of 1:3.The unit is staffed with full-time and part-time RNs, and PRN RNs.Current responsibilities include phase 2 recoveries of urology, GYN, and other same-day surgery patients.The RN will assist with pre-op surgeries, endoscopy, catheter lab, electrophysiology, and outpatient infusions.Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.Candidates should prioritize patient experience and effective communication with staff and providers.On-call duties are required, with a 30-minute response time expected.Two 10-hour on-call shifts are required every 8 weeks.This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and technology.The environment is competitive, fostering professional growth and collaboration among staff.
